Flashes are sold in pairs and go under the cuff of your kilt hose. They generally match the kilt (but not always) as they originated from the edge of the kilt as a garter to hold up the hose. They serve their original purpose if the elastic in your hose dies. They generally measure 1-1/2" by 6" and are stitched on 15" of elastic and come with safety pins. Can be stitched once they are sized.
